The id project gave us a chance to create an ID that was unique to us, as opposed to the standard issue SCAD id that we use to get around. A standard ID has a width of 2.12 inches and a height of 3.34 inches so to get a 300% increase for the new ID I multiplied the dimensions by 3, which resulted in a width of 6.38 inches and a height of 10.04 inches. I used those measurements to make a template in inDesign and started thinking about the colour-scheme. I wanted for the ID to match the overall colour-scheme of my blog and the field of study that interests me. The choice was anthracite grey which is a simple, manmade metallic colour. I wanted to incorporate.
